Expensive and noisy

It is an expensive product for what it really offers. It makes a lot of noise compared to other fans that are even more efficient in helping to cool the water. The only thing to highlight is that it can be programmed with the chihiros application.

Mmmmm.....not that quiet....

Pros:* I do like the temperature control via the Chihiros app. You can set the initial "on" temperature and the temperature at which the fans turn on maximum speed.* Roughly 20 steps or so of fan speed so the fan speeds up based on how close the aquarium gets to the "max fan speed temperature".Cons:* It's not that quiet. On its lowest fan speed it is but anything around its mid-fan speed or higher and it gets loud. Maybe not loud enough to disturb TV viewing but it is distracting.* Not sure how accurate it is. I've got a 90 cm tank so I'm using two of these and they differ between each other by around 1 degree celsius.* Although I like the functionality of the app, these fans (both) tend to have trouble connecting to the app periodically. In contrast, my Chihiros RGBII and Chihiros Doctor don't have issues with connectivity (and yes, I'm using the latest fan firmware).Overall the fan is worth it because its got integrated temperature control and will turn on and shut off automatically based on set parameters. Just don't expect "silent" operation and keep in mind a single fan is really meant for a 60 cm (around 20 gallon) aquarium or smaller. Chihiros recommends for anything larger you'll need two fans (up to a 120cm tank).
